Get Involved
The River Communities Coalition welcomes community members, local businesses, and organizations who want to help strengthen Needles and surrounding river communities. Whether through volunteering, supporting community events, or participating in local initiatives like the River Communities Grocery Cooperative, there are many ways to get involved.
Volunteer
RCC depends on volunteers who want to make a positive difference in their community. Volunteers assist with community events, outreach efforts, local improvement projects, and activities that bring residents together.
Attend Meetings
This summer, RCC meetings are held every Thursday at 10:00 AM at Palo Verde College’s Needles Center. Community members are welcome to attend, learn about current projects, share ideas, and get involved in upcoming activities.
Support the Grocery Cooperative
River Communities Coalition’s current initiativesis helping guide the development of a community-owned grocery cooperative designed to improve food access and strengthen the local economy in Needles and surrounding river communities. Community members can support this effort in several ways, including helping with outreach, sharing information about the project, and supporting fundraising efforts that help move the cooperative from planning to reality.
